Many marriages during the 50s, were actually like the TV sitcoms of that era. Father Knows Best, Ozzie & Harriet, the husbands, always the Bread Winners, the wives, Stay at Home Moms. Sadly, those wives, took for granted, the fact, 'all men cheated, even the Kennedy brothers, 'bless the Boys souls. And those 'happy to be barefoot & pregnant,'  committed 'little women,' are just too tired to be a 'Run Around Sue.' The wife of the fifties, had to be mother, cook and 'Sex Kitten', 24/7.
