The first uncomfortable memory I remember. as an eleven year old, was my 'first period!' Spots of blood on my panties, were such a shock, I ran to my mom, thinking I was hurt & dying! Mom was totally ready, and, out came a booklet, 'the Birds & the Bees', compliments from Kotex sanitary napkins.
