Remember that Grim Reaper, leftover from last year? You know, the ghoul wearing the 'Hi, I'm COVID' name tag, that's the one. Mr. Death just returned from a San Diego Zoo, where the zoo's gorillas are testing positive for the pandemic. There have been 'reported' cases of COVID infected tigers, lions, minks dogs & domesticated cats. Besides each having 4 legs, the only other thing they have in common, was somewhere along each infected animals' path, was human contact.
Have you ever gone an entire day without sunshine? Here in the Bay Area, that's what we're experiencing. The entire sun has been blocked out by the numerous fires burning, from Washington's & Oregon's Wildfires, and from Bay Area fires burning for over a week now. Wildfires, Power outages and COVID19, this sure ain't the California the Beach Boys used to sing about. What can a normal person do the deal with such stressful times?

Last Monday was 'Good Riddance Day', a Latino tradition, when at the end of every year, on Dec. 28th, people gather dolls to stuff into, all their bad experiences of the past year they choose to forget. The Kew-pie is then disposed of, clearing away all the negative memories for the arrival of a fresh New Year. It must have taken many years of stuffed dolls to finally drag Trump, kicking & screaming out of office! Whew, we were about to call John Walsh!
