To us with dogs, this is a real pain,
Even if Sid's dressed in his Xmas sweater
He still refuses to out and pee in this weather!
What, not feeling the 'holiday stress,' yet? Let me help, I actually got all my Xmas shopping done, months ago! And, I even 'completed' the worse part of Xmas', the wrapping! Did it All, way back in October, before this ugly wet lousy weather started, also missed the Smash & Grab gangs, who think GOD ain't watching!. Feeling a tad stressed now? And, as GOD is my Jehovah witness, I'm sure there's a few out there who STILL haven't bought a single Xmas gift! Don't fret, there's a pair of Tello Toon classics waiting in the wings to cheer Mr Humbug's dark soul ...
Way, way back, in my day, Smokey the Bear was a pretty big icon to kids. Just like that 'Chucky Cheese' rodent is today's reigning idol. Unlike Chucky, Smokey, in costume, came to many SF elementary schools, spreading his famous message; 'only YOU can prevent forest fires!' And before Smoke took off, the Bear handed out firefighter badges & comic book pamphlets to the class. We thought that was 'HOT!"
It's been a while for most, but remember that old weird lady, that lived in a shoe? Or, that 'off the wall,' half-man, half-egg, always half-baked, Humpty Dumpty? And, be honest, that child in you, could never forget the famous of that trio, Baby Bear? Yes, 'Mother Goose' apparently partied with a lot of freaks ...
Great News, if you liked last Wednesday 's Tello Toon classics, hold on to your tampon, here's another throw-back pair. This Mixed Nuts even include my very FIRST, 'Name that Toon.' After all, laughing is good for the soul, especially during this too long Holiday Season. From Halloween to the end of December, this 'Ho Ho Ho' festive season, falls heavy during such uncertain times. So 'make like a clown,' and laugh, release that holiday stress, and laugh loud and so hard, you pee!
